Principal Engineer, Florian Dieterle is no stranger to major projects.

Florian has been with CaSE since the very beginning, around four years ago and we have enjoyed every single project together. We have had the pleasure of working with his expertise, keen eye for detail, and sharp problem-solving skills. Truly a great value to our team!

What was your favourite project so far?

"Batemans Bay Bridge is a fantastic project where I enjoyed both looking at the stability of a modern precast segmental box girder bridge as well as the complex demolition engineering of the steel truss bridges from 70 years ago. The hand drafting skill was really impressive too."

Have you always known you wanted to be an engineer?

"I have always enjoyed building things, experimenting with different materials and shapes so I wanted to become an Architect initially. I reckon this was because I didn’t know how amazing Civil Engineering is!"

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

"Politely decline meeting invites once in a while to get some work done in-between meetings!"
