Parramatta Light Rail is one of the NSW Government’s latest major infrastructure projects being delivered to serve a growing Sydney. The Light Rail will create new communities, connect great places and help both locals and visitors move around and explore what the region has to offer.
CaSE Contractors have successfully provided engineering support to the Construction Team during the planning, procurement, and early works stage of the project. CaSE provided ongoing support during the construction phase and was involved particularly in writing contracts and tender packages for utility relocations, material supply, labour-hire including traffic control, and design work.
CaSE also facilitated the reviewing preliminary design drawings for constructability and raising change requests where necessary. We were also involved with compiling Work Packs for early construction works such as site investigations, traffic switches, and utility works. Our management team was also involved in cost forecasting for design packages including drainage, pavements, combined service routes, and multi-functional poles.
CaSE & Pike Design provided a design check for the lifting, using strand jacks and transportation of a 60m span arch bridge. CaSE & Pike also provided a peer review of the complete operation to the projects JV management to provide confidence in the operation.
